Wedding jewellery is usually the most important thing a family buys, and it has to be right — the right design, the right weight, ready on the right date.
Made to order means you’re not choosing from what a shop happens to have. You decide the design, the stones and the detail, and see it before it’s made.
Ordering for a wedding
Most bridal orders are more than one piece — a necklace with matching earrings, bangles, a maang tikka, sometimes pieces for the mother or sister as well.
Tell us what the whole set needs to include and we’ll plan it together, so the pieces work as a set rather than as separate items that happen to arrive at the same time.
If there’s family gold you want used, this is often where it matters most. An old necklace nobody wears can become part of what the bride wears on the day.
Start with the date
The single most useful thing you can tell us at the start is when the function is.
We plan backwards from it — design, your approval, sourcing, making, certification — and tell you honestly at the beginning whether it can be done comfortably in that time. If it can’t, we’ll say so rather than accept the order and hope.
Detailed work takes longer than simple pieces. The earlier you start, the more design freedom you have.
Styles we work in
Temple
Traditional South Indian work, usually 22K gold, with figures and motifs drawn from temple art. Heavy, formal, worn for weddings.
Antique
Gold given a dull, aged finish rather than a bright polish. Looks older than it is. Popular for brides who want something less shiny.
Kundan
Stones set into gold with a fine gold foil around them. Flat, detailed, traditionally North Indian, now widely worn at South Indian weddings too.
Polki
Uncut natural diamonds, set in their raw form rather than cut and faceted. Softer sparkle than a modern diamond.
Meenakari
Coloured enamel work fired onto gold, often on the reverse of a Kundan piece so there’s detail on both sides.
Contemporary
Lighter, simpler designs for brides who want something wearable after the wedding as well as on the day.

What comes with the pieces
Gold carries BIS hallmarking — the government standard for purity. Diamonds come with IGI certification, an independent grading of each stone. Both apply as relevant to what you’ve ordered.
You get a written estimate before anything is made, and a timeline in writing so you know the date before you commit.
